UNDER 13 STATISTICS  

Managers Notes: (Pieter Johnson)

2003 was a tough season, and the Under 13’s saw the highs and lows. We spent 5 weeks in top spot in the league, 2 weeks in second and 2 weeks in third. Unable to match the strong squads of the big clubs in the run in, Nascot Wood bravely fought, week in and out with no substitutes and the end of season saw Rangers finish in eighth. Memorable performances from the old boys; including Daniel Youngs , Phillip Thomas , Alex Johnson and Josh Armstrong. Midfield domination from Ronnie Hays and Hussaan Ahmad . Michael Barrett became our most successful spot kick taker and the supply of goals from Sam Colbeck refreshed the strike force. The season saw ever improving performances from Jamie Cooper and Adnan Ahmed supported by the determined Tony Delaney. 

Sorely missed for most of the season were Craig Valentine and Robert West who when on show performed quality football. Unfortunately silverware is not often won by teams in our position and 2003 was to prove empty on this front. However, the Club, parents and supporters can be justifiably proud of a team of players whose allegiance to each other and the Club showed Nascot Wood Rangers at its best.
