Sunday 13th March - Harvesters North 0 Nascot Wood Hawks 2
Sunday 23rd January - Hadley Wood West 6 - Nascot Wood Hawks 2 A poor result given our recent run of wins in the league. The boys played well in the first half and were still in touch at the end of the half at 2-1 to Hadley by a goal from Charlie Harris. The game got away from us during the second half and despite a lot of effort the boys were unable to stop a strong Hadley side. Dominic Cortes scored the second goals for the Hawks. We must continue to keep working hard.
Sunday 16th January - Nascot Wood Hawks 2 - Whetstone Wanderers 3 The Hawks made it uncomfortable for Whetstone in the final few minutes pushing hard for an equaliser. Unfortunately, we ran out of time on this occasion.
Sunday 9th January - Hemel Athletic 0 Nascot Wood Hawks 2 The second half started as the first with Hemel pressing forward.Charlie Harris scored a brilliant individual goal early on when he took the ball from our half, up the left wing and then slotted the ball past the keeper. 1 -0 to the Hawks . Ben Fullylove also made the most of his chance in front of goal 5 minutes later and it was 2-0 to the Hawks. Hemel pushed everyone forward in an attempt to get something from the game, but all our boys were solid and worked hard supporting each other.
19/12/04 Borehamwood 2 - Nascot Wood Hawks 3 A great performance considering the pitch conditions. We played uphill first half and although the Hawks went 2 goals behind we continued to battle away. Ryan Hamlett made a brave save and for the 3rd game in a row we had to change keepers within the first half. Josh Davies went in goal, both keepers had an excellent game. Passing and tackling was excellent and a break on the right found Ben Fullylove in acres of space in the middle, he coolly slotted the ball passed the keeper. The second half and we have the run of the pitch. In fact apart from one scrambled clearance we pegged Borehamwood into their half for most of it. Adam Bischoff battled all game and deserved to score his first goal of the season from a loose ball, all square at 2-2. The stage was set for a win. Teddy Ring and Daniel Wilson kept the midfield tight with lots of clearances, passing and tackling. Charlie Peters was a tower of strength defensively dealing with any attacks and cleared his lines brilliantly. Jamie Wise did not stop running and battling on the right wing and there was some great vision and passing from all the team. Charlie Harris came on the second half and covered every blade of grass. An absolute screamer of a goal from Charlie made it 3-2 to the Hawks. Dominic Cortes battled in the middle and put pressure on their defence. Dominic hit the post and had a couple of shots saved. On another day he and the rest of the team could have scored a lot more. We go into Christmas in winning form again.
28/11/04 Nascot Wood Hawks 5 Borehamwood Youth 3 A better performance from the Hawks gave them a well deserved victory. 4 goals from Charlie Harris and 1 from Dominic Cortes ensured that we have our 2nd win of the season.
