Match Report

A great performance by all on Sunday, we had always previously lost against Evergreen and in my (biased) view, we had more of the game and completely neutralised them and this was a top division side last season, it must be some sort of record at this level to have 3 consecutive 0-0 results, even if I did try to break the duck by scoring myself. _ Whoops sorry for the grief caused Rob I really was behind the line and the ball hit my foot and span back over and into the goal. I couldn’t have repeated that had I’d been asked to prove it. But it was a corner…it can off Ryan.

Match Report

Captain for the match Charlie Peters

A great team performance from the boys. Unfortunately we are unable to capitalise on possession near the opponent’s goal. Charlie Peters put in a captains performance in defence and Jamie Wise scored from a great passing move.

Congratulations to all the boys who are playing really well as a unit this year. Results will surely go our way in the coming weeks.

Well done to all the boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Match Report

Captain for the match Jamie Wise

Two goals from  in each half gave the Hawks victory over Strides. The Hawks were down to 6 in the first half very early on when Dominic Cortes received an injury. The boys dug deep to ensure that Strides were unable to make the most of the extra player. Teddy scored first and then Strides equalised. After half time and back to full strength the boys impressed with good movement and passing. Teddy again was on hand to score his 2nd goal from a cross from Dominic. The defence held strong late in the half when Strides tried everything to get a goal. Ryan Hamlett in goal, Daniel Wilson, Charlie Peters and Adam Bischoff worked hard to keep the lead.

Well done to all the boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hemel Athletic v. NWR Hawks

3 - 1Daniel Wilson

Match Report

Captain for the match Adam Bischoff

The team’s best wishes go to Ben Fullylove who is recovering from surgery. Get Well Soon Ben!!!!

The weather had a major part to play in today’s match. It poured down for the whole game which made the boggy playing conditions even more difficult. Adam Bischoff had a great game as captain and the other boys played their part against an impressive Hemel side.

Ryan Hamlett’s performance in goal was superb saving many shots. The boys never stopped working hard for each other and Daniel Wilson coolly slotted the ball from a penalty to score.

Well done to all the boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Match Report

Captain for the match Rohin Shah

What a fantastic team display we witnessed today. The movement and passing was top class. All the lads played extremely well and took the game early on to Abbots Youth. Adam Bischoff struck shot gave the Hawks a 1-0 lead. Despite all the possession the Hawks were unable to capitalise on the possession.

The second half started as the first had finished, with plenty of possession and passing for the Hawks. Up popped Rohin Shah, Captain for the match to score the 2nd goal in the match.

The Hawks goal was never troubled in this match and the clock ran down to another great performance from the Hawks.

Well done to all the boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Match Report

Captain for the match Ryan Hamlett

The Hawks are back to their very best. A fantastic passing display in the first half saw the Hawks score 4 goals. 2 further goals in the second half secured a very one sided win.

Ryan Hamlett in goal as captain, hardly touched the ball for the whole game. Nearly all of the play was in the opposition’s half of the field. Rohin Shah got off the mark for the season with a hat-trick, Adam Bischoff, Jamie Wise and Charlie Peters each scored their first goals for the season. The goal tally could have quite easily been in double figures by the end of the match but the Hawks’ hunger for more goals was not satisfied as they missed chance after chance.

Well done to all the boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NWR Hawks v. Strides

0 - 1

Match Report

Captain for the match Daniel Wilson

One momentary lapse in concentration allowed Strides a route 1 goal early in the game. From then on the Hawks were hardly trouble again and it was one way traffic against Strides.

The Hawks managed to do everything but score, and they kept trying right up to then end of the match.

Sunday 2nd October 2005Result:Scorers:Man Of The Match:

Everett Rovers Blue v. NWR Hawks

2 - 0

Match Report

Captain for the match Teddy Ring

A challenging match for the Hawks against a team we played last season. All the boys work hard and Teddy Ring “Captain for the Match” covered every blade of grass. Unfortunately we let an early goal in the first half and the boys played well and had a number of attempts in the first half to level the score. The goal never came and in the second half we pushed forward in attempt to get that goal. Everett scored on the break and it was 2- 0.

The determination shown by the boys will be a key attribute for the rest of the season, which will help us back on our winning ways soon.

Match Report

Captain for the match Dominic Cortes

A great start for the season. 2 goals from Dominic Cortes and a penalty from Teddy Rings ensured that the Hawks had a good start to the season. The whole team deserve praise for how well they passed the ball and worked hard for each other.

Well done to all the boys.
